Arabic Fluency Essentials course
Course Description
This course is designed for learners who can read and write Arabic but struggle with speaking and understanding. It serves as a foundation for our Speaking program, focusing on essential grammar and practical speaking exercises to build confidence and fluency. At the end of the course, students will take an exam, and those who pass will receive a certificate from the Irtaqi Institute.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
Tell the difference between masculine and feminine words, as well as singular, dual, and plural forms.
Ask questions correctly in Arabic and build complete sentences with confidence.
Recognise and use past, present, and future tenses with the right verbs.
Use common prepositions in everyday conversations.
Ability to begin learning and exploring Arabic on your own.
Personal Pronunciation - 1 session
Building with Prepositions - 2 sessions
Core Verbs and Their Use - 2 sessions
Understanding Sentence Structure - 1 session
Asking and Answering with Question Words - 2 sessions
Prerequisites: Knows how to read and write Arabic
Eligibility: Males aged 16 and above
Course Leader: Ustadh Ahmad Alzab
Mode of delivery: In-person at 83 Lister St, Glasgow G4 0BZ.
Duration: Four weeks/two classes per week
Schedule/Start date: Monday and Thursday, 19:00 to 20:00. Classes will begin once the minimum number of students has enrolled. The confirmed start date will be shared at lease one week in advance.
Minimum Attendance: 60%
Passing grade: 55%
Fees: £40 (Payment is required only once the course date is confirmed. A £5 non-refundable admin fee reserves your seat and counts toward your total fee. Payment details will be emailed).
